[zombie walk noun.
an organized public gathering of
two or more people who dress up in zombie costumes and walk from one location to
another in a zombie-like manner; organizations often use zombie walks to raise
awareness for community service events i.e. food drives and blood drives]
Grand View College Campus Ministry and Alpha Psi Omega are hosting a campus-wide zombie
walk in conjunction with Hunger Awareness Week to raise food for the DMARC Emergency Food Pantry. Students, faculty, and staff are invited to
participate as either a zombie food collector or a food donor.
Schedule:
6 p.m. – 7 p.m. Zombie
participants will meet in the Viking Theater at the
7 p.m. – 8 p.m. The zombies will walk by
all the student-housing buildings and the length of
8 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. The zombie walkers will drop
off all the donated food at
